New app aims to help HIV patients in laos kick the smoking habit

Summary
This study will test if a smartphone app can help people with HIV in Laos quit smoking better than printed materials. About 1200 smokers from 8 HIV clinics will take part. The app sends personalized texts, photos, and videos to support quitting. The goal is to see how many people join the program and successfully stop smoking for at least 6 months.
