First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study explores whether a simple smell test can help detect early signs of Alzheimer's and other brain diseases. Researchers will have 250 adults with mild memory or behavior concerns, plus healthy older adults, take a 45-minute at-home smell test. The goal is to develop a low-cost, noninvasive tool to tell the difference between normal aging and early disease.
