First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at 51 adults with cardiac amyloidosis, a rare heart condition, to find out how many also have problems with smell or taste. Researchers used simple tests to measure these senses. The goal is to see if smell or taste loss could be an early warning sign of the disease, helping doctors diagnose it sooner.
