First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested the drug sirolimus in 7 people with idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD) who did not get better with standard therapy. The goal was to see if sirolimus could improve symptoms like fever, fatigue, and weight loss, and shrink swollen lymph nodes. Results will help doctors understand if sirolimus is a useful treatment option for this rare condition.
