Could a simple CT scan be enough to guide stroke treatment?

Summary
This study looks at whether a simple CT scan can be used to decide if stroke patients need a procedure to remove a blood clot, instead of more complex scans. About 1,846 adults who had a stroke within the last 24 hours will take part. The goal is to see if the simple scan leads to similar recovery and safety outcomes as the standard approach.
