First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether sildenafil, a drug often used for other conditions, can improve heart function in children aged 1 to 18 with dilated cardiomyopathy (an enlarged, weak heart). Researchers will measure changes in the heart's pumping ability over time. The goal is to see if adding sildenafil to standard heart failure treatment helps these children.
