First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking blood thinners for just 1 month after getting a heart stent is as safe and effective as the usual 12 months. It involves over 3,700 people with acute coronary syndrome. Doctors also compare using ultrasound guidance during stent placement versus standard X-ray imaging to see which leads to better outcomes.
