Shockwave therapy could unclog hardened leg arteries

Summary
This study is testing a device that uses sound waves (shockwaves) to break up calcium buildup in the leg arteries of people with peripheral artery disease. The goal is to improve blood flow, reduce pain, and help patients walk better. About 50 participants will be followed for one year to see how well the treatment works and if it stays effective.
