Summary
This study looks at whether the Shingrix vaccine is safe and effective for people with autoimmune rheumatic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, who have a higher risk of shingles. About 2,000 participants will receive the vaccine or no vaccine, and researchers will monitor disease flares, immune response, and shingles cases over five years. The goal is to see if the vaccine can prevent shingles without worsening their underlying condition.
