First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether a serious game (a video game designed to teach) can help children aged 10-17 with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes learn more about their condition. 78 kids were split into two groups: one got standard education, the other also played the game. The goal was to see if the game improved their knowledge about diabetes, treatment, and food within the first 3 months after diagnosis.
