First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested whether a serious game (an educational video game) helps children aged 10 to 17 with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes learn how to manage their condition. 78 kids participated, and researchers measured their knowledge with a 50-question quiz and tracked blood sugar control. The goal was to see if the game reinforces what they learn in standard diabetes education.
