Weight-Loss drug semaglutide tested to boost IVF success in overweight women

Summary
This study tests whether taking semaglutide (a weight-loss medication) for 12 weeks before starting IVF can improve the quality of embryos in overweight or obese women. About 62 women aged 38 or younger with a BMI between 27 and 40 will be randomly assigned to receive semaglutide or no pre-treatment. The main goal is to see if the drug increases the number of good-quality blastocysts available for freezing.
