New hope for recurrent brain cancer? drug combo trial launches

Summary
This study tests a new drug (selinexor) added to standard chemotherapy (temozolomide) for people with glioblastoma that has returned after initial treatment. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and works better than chemotherapy alone to shrink or stabilize the tumor. About 97 adults with a specific type of recurrent glioblastoma will take part.
