First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether watching a short educational video about safe opioid use helps breast reconstruction patients use fewer pain pills after surgery. About 68 women having breast reconstruction after mastectomy will be randomly assigned to watch the video or receive usual care. The goal is to see if simple, low-cost education can reduce opioid use and improve disposal practices.
