Brain zaps before therapy: new hope for cocaine addiction?

Summary
This study tests if a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS, given before weekly talk therapy, can help adults with cocaine use disorder quit cocaine. Thirty participants will receive either real or placebo rTMS daily for 3 weeks, followed by 12 weeks of cognitive-behavioral therapy. The goal is to see if the combination is safe, changes brain activity, and leads to at least 3 weeks of cocaine abstinence.
