Summary

This study aimed to see if the statin drug rosuvastatin could help prevent bone loss and reduce heart disease risk in adults with long-term spinal cord injury. Participants took either rosuvastatin or a placebo, plus supplements, for 12 months. The study was terminated early and enrolled only 8 of the planned 54 participants.
