First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at a part of the eye called the vitreous zonule and how it might play a role in primary angle-closure glaucoma, a condition that can damage vision. Researchers will use special 3D ultrasound imaging to examine this structure in 440 people, including those with early and advanced glaucoma, as well as healthy volunteers. The goal is to better understand what causes this type of glaucoma and find ways to detect it earlier.
