Robot gym aims to revolutionize stroke rehab access
NCT ID NCT05542121
Summary
This study tested a system of simple, affordable robots designed to help people recover arm and hand function after a stroke. Researchers compared standard therapy to therapy where some exercises were done using these robots instead of with a therapist. The goal was to see if the robot-assisted therapy was safe, effective, and could make quality rehabilitation more accessible in community settings.
