Robot gym aims to bring High-Tech rehab to local communities

NCT ID NCT05542121

Summary

This study tested a system of simple, force-feedback robots designed to provide upper-limb therapy for people recovering from a stroke. The goal was to see if using these robots in a community setting was safe, feasible, and as effective as standard occupational therapy for improving arm movement, hand function, and quality of life. Researchers compared outcomes for a small group of patients who used the robot 'gym' against those who received standard care alone.
