MS drug rituximab tested for brain and hand benefits in advanced patients

Summary
This study tests whether the drug rituximab can improve memory, thinking speed, and hand coordination in people with advanced secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS). About 46 participants with high disability will receive either rituximab or a placebo for one year. Researchers will measure changes in cognitive tests, hand dexterity, and quality of life to see if the drug offers meaningful benefits.
