Summary
This study tested whether the antibiotic rifaximin could reduce bloating symptoms in people with diabetic gastroparesis, a condition where the stomach empties too slowly. Researchers enrolled adults aged 18-75 who had been diagnosed with diabetic gastroparesis and experienced bloating. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 5 participants.
