Summary
This study aimed to see if the antibiotic rifaximin could reduce bloating in people with diabetic gastroparesis, a condition where the stomach empties slowly. Only 5 adults with diabetes and confirmed slow stomach emptying were enrolled. The trial was terminated early, so results are limited.
