Summary

This study aimed to see if the antibiotic rifaximin could reduce bloating in people with diabetic gastroparesis, a condition where the stomach empties slowly. Only 5 adults with diabetes and confirmed delayed stomach emptying joined before the study was stopped early. The main goal was to measure changes in bloating using a detailed questionnaire.
