First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tested whether a set of breathing exercises and devices (PowerBreathe and Therosold PEP) could improve lung function in 60 elderly patients with COPD. Participants were split into two groups to compare different training routines. Researchers used ultrasound and breathing tests to measure changes, aiming to find a safe, drug-free way to ease symptoms and improve daily life.
