NCT ID NCT07449767

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a four-week moderate strength training program could help healthy men aged 60-75 improve their diaphragm thickness (a key breathing muscle), reduce liver fat, and enhance quality of life. Thirty participants were split into an exercise group and a control group. The goal was to gather knowledge on how short-term resistance training affects these health measures in older adults.
