First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether using remote monitoring devices at home can allow people to safely leave the hospital the same day they receive a new heart valve (TAVI). About 216 participants will be randomly assigned to either standard care or a home monitoring program that tracks heart rhythms and other vital signs. The goal is to see if this approach reduces hospital stays and complications within 30 days after the procedure.
