Summary

This study looks at whether a 12-week remote physical activity program is practical and well-liked by inactive men living in rural communities. 37 men will receive coaching calls, behavioral lessons, and feedback by email or phone. The goal is to see if this approach can help them become more active, and if it's something they would stick with.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
Remote physical activity program (12 weeks or 6 weeks delayed)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a home-based exercise program is a practical way to help inactive men in rural communities become more active.
What could go wrong
This is a small feasibility study with only 37 men, so results may not apply to everyone. It tests whether the program works in practice, not whether it improves health outcomes.
