Smart home device aims to keep heart failure patients out of hospital
NCT ID NCT06222099
Summary
This study is testing a home monitoring device that automatically checks for leg swelling, a key sign of worsening heart failure. It aims to see if sending alerts to healthcare teams when swelling is detected can help manage the condition better and reduce hospital visits. The study will involve 1,500 adults with chronic heart failure who have a history of hospitalizations and struggle with traditional monitoring methods.
