First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether shifting text to healthier parts of the visual field can help people with age-related macular degeneration read faster and make fewer mistakes. About 108 participants with central vision loss will try two different text-remapping methods. The goal is to find a simple way to improve reading without medical treatment.
