Summary

This study tested a therapy called BE-SMART-DR in 65 teens and young adults with bipolar disorder or major depression who had suicidal thoughts or past attempts. The therapy teaches self-directed strategies to regularize sleep and daily routines, aiming to reduce suicide risk. Results showed improvements in suicidal thinking and daily rhythm regularity.
