Summary
This study tested a Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills training program for older adults (age 50+) who care for a family member with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. The goal was to reduce suicidal thoughts and feelings. Nine caregivers participated, and the program focused on teaching coping skills to manage stress and emotional pain.
