New combo aims to shrink radiation damage and fight cancer

Summary
This study is for people with certain head and neck cancers (oropharynx, larynx, hypopharynx) that haven't spread past the midline. It tests two ideas: using a smaller radiation target to reduce side effects, and adding the drug ATRA to help prevent the cancer from coming back. About 460 participants will be randomly assigned to one of four treatment groups. The main goal is to see if these approaches improve how long people live without their cancer returning.
