Summary

This study aims to find out which of two surgical techniques for low rectal cancer leads to better bowel function and quality of life after surgery. Researchers will compare the Parks operation and the Bacon operation in 256 patients. The main goal is to see which technique results in fewer bowel problems one year after surgery.
