NCT ID NCT05943444

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques for low rectal cancer to see which one better preserves patients' bowel control and quality of life after surgery. Researchers will randomly assign 256 patients to receive either the Parks or Bacon surgical method and then track their bowel function and quality of life for one year. The goal is to determine which surgical approach causes fewer bowel problems and complications after cancer removal.
