Summary
This study tested whether radiofrequency microneedling can safely treat melasma, a common skin condition causing dark patches, in people with darker skin (Fitzpatrick types IV-VI). Ten adults completed the treatment at Cleveland Clinic. Researchers measured changes in melasma severity using a standard scoring system.
