Summary
This study tested whether delivering a synthetic parathyroid hormone (PTH 1-34) through an insulin pump works better than twice-daily injections for people with chronic hypoparathyroidism. The goal was to keep blood and urine calcium levels stable with fewer fluctuations. The trial included 21 adults and children with different forms of the condition, comparing the two delivery methods over 13 weeks each.
