Kids' nerve block study aims to pinpoint perfect needle placement

NCT ID NCT07348029

First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at 50 children aged 1-18 having penile surgery to find the best place and depth for a pudendal nerve block. Doctors will measure how far from the anus and how deep the needle needs to go, and see if that relates to the child's age, height, and weight. The goal is to improve pain control after surgery by gathering this anatomical data.
