First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called PTC596 (Unesbulin) given alongside radiation therapy for children and teens (ages 1-21) newly diagnosed with aggressive brain tumors like DIPG or high-grade glioma. The main goal is to find a safe dose and check for side effects. Participants take the drug twice a week during radiation, then continue the drug alone. Researchers also measure how much drug gets into the blood and tumor.
