Magic mushroom therapy: do monitors make a difference for depression?

NCT ID NCT07211438

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having a monitor present during psilocybin (magic mushroom) therapy helps adults whose depression hasn't improved with other treatments. About 40 people will take part to see if this approach is practical and safe. The goal is to ease depression symptoms, not cure the condition.
