First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) can safely reduce OCD symptoms. Thirty adults with moderate-to-severe OCD who haven't improved with standard treatments will receive a low, medium, or high dose in chocolate. The goal is to see if it eases obsessions and compulsions, and to track any side effects.
