Study asks: can a break from prostate cancer treatment be just as effective?
NCT ID NCT06200103
Summary
This study is testing whether patients with advanced prostate cancer that has spread can safely take a break from their targeted radiation treatment. Researchers want to see if stopping treatment after 5 cycles and only resuming if the cancer worsens works as well as getting the standard 6 continuous cycles. The goal is to control the cancer while potentially reducing treatment side effects and improving quality of life for the 236 participants.
