Could a break from cancer treatment be just as effective?
NCT ID NCT06200103
Summary
This study is testing if taking a planned break from a targeted radiation treatment is as effective as continuing it without a pause for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread. The goal is to see if a shorter treatment course can control the cancer just as well while potentially reducing side effects. Researchers will compare cancer progression, survival, and quality of life between patients who take a break and those who receive continuous treatment.
