Summary
This study is testing whether a probiotic supplement called Probacine can help protect patients' gut health and prevent organ problems after heart surgery. Researchers will enroll 500 adults undergoing cardiovascular surgery to see if the supplement improves recovery. The goal is to see if supporting gut bacteria leads to better outcomes and fewer complications in the hospital.
