Summary
This study is testing whether a probiotic supplement called Probacine can help protect patients' gut health and prevent organ problems after heart surgery. It will involve 500 adults undergoing cardiovascular surgery. Researchers want to see if supporting the gut microbiome leads to better recovery and fewer complications.
