NCT ID NCT07377799
First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study will use a small heart monitor (implantable loop recorder) for up to three years to find hidden atrial fibrillation in 100 people with moderate-to-severe mitral valve regurgitation who have few or no symptoms. The goal is to learn how common these hidden heart rhythm problems are and whether they lead to serious health events. Participants must not have had atrial fibrillation before and must not need immediate valve surgery.
