First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether in-person acupuncture or virtual acupressure can prevent joint pain caused by aromatase inhibitors, a common hormone therapy for breast cancer. It focuses on Non-Hispanic Black women with early-stage breast cancer, who are more likely to stop treatment due to side effects. Participants will receive either acupuncture or acupressure and report their pain levels over 24 weeks.
