First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at over 1000 patients who had surgery for liver cancer (HCC) to better predict how long they might live after the operation. Researchers used a 'metro ticket' approach that considers tumor size, number of tumors, and a blood marker called AFP. The goal is to help doctors decide who will benefit most from surgery.
