First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study will see if an artificial intelligence (AI) model can predict serious heart problems within 30 days after gastrointestinal surgery better than current risk scores. Researchers will review medical records from 5000 adults having surgery at Bach Mai Hospital. The AI model will be compared to traditional tools like the Revised Cardiac Risk Index. The study does not change any treatments—it only observes and analyzes data.
