First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study will see if an artificial intelligence (AI) model can predict major heart problems within 30 days after gastrointestinal surgery better than current risk scores. Researchers will review medical records from 5,000 adults having surgery at Bach Mai Hospital. The study does not change any treatments—it only compares how well different methods predict complications.
