First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study follows 130 patients with severe brain injuries (from stroke, trauma, or lack of oxygen) who are in a coma or minimally conscious state. Researchers will use brain scans, electrical tests, and regular check-ups to find clues that predict if and when a patient might regain consciousness. The goal is to better understand recovery, not to test a new treatment.
